Witness Appeal

Detectives investigating a serious assault in Silverstone are appealing for witnesses and information.

At around 7pm on Thursday, October 31, an altercation took place between two teenage boys close to a bench at the junction of Murswell Lane and High Street.

One boy suffered serious facial injuries which required hospital treatment.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who was in the area between 6.30pm and 7.15pm who may have information relevant to their enquiries.

It's believed the area was busy at the time with people visiting a nearby Halloween lights display.

• A 14-year-old boy and a 36-year-old woman, both of Silverstone, were arrested in connection with the incident and have been bailed pending further enquiries.
